As part of Tikab, you will work together with Sweden's most skilled engineers in major construction projects and eventually also run your own projects on behalf of the customer.

The position includes design, 3D modelling, preparation of drawings and other manufacturing documents and ongoing customer contact.

For structural analysis and design, you will use modern FEM, MBS and CAD systems, from leading suppliers as well as in-house developed specialised software. We also have scanning and 3D printing equipment to support the work.

Our clients are usually industrial companies and major consultancies. We are currently involved in several large infrastructure and hydraulic engineering projects, the development of new technologies for railway vehicles and complex design calculations for the power industry.

Tikab's strength is to carry out demanding assignments with excellence and high quality.

Through a balance between design and CAD assignments on the one hand, and investigation and calculation assignments on the other, we try to create a developing and varied technical environment for all employees.

Requirements for the position are

- Civil or university engineering degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.

- At least 5 years of experience as a mechanical designer from an industrial or consulting company.

Merits for the position are

- Experience of working with large load-bearing mechanical structures.

- Experience of working in 3D-CAD SolidWorks.
