Many construction and infrastructure projects rely on point clouds for design and monitoring.

Point clouds are very data-intensive and require both large storage areas and special software and hardware for management. This creates problems in projects where this information needs to be disseminated and managed efficiently.

To address this, Tikab has developed OMNITWIN, a web-based solution for storing and managing point clouds, 360 images, and other information suitable for linking to a physical location.

Some projects are sensitive and contain classified information. OMNITWIN supports this through the possibility of operating in its own security classified IT environment - so-called OnPrem.

With OMNITWIN, you can easily upload high-resolution point clouds in LAS or E57 format and then visualize them individually or together in context.

With modern browsers, you can use our solution on any computer without having to thin the clouds. Moreover, you can choose the level of detail and cut out and download specific parts of the clouds for design or visualization.

YOUR OWN STREETVIEW

OMNITWIN also includes support for displaying 360 images that
have either been imported with point cloud data (e57) or imported manually. These are given a location in the world, with navigation between them like Google Streetmap, and the ability to measure from 360 images with point cloud data as the basis for the measurement.

INTEGRATIONS

Support for integration with dRofus is available. This means cross-linking between room objects in OMNITWIN and room maps in dRofus. In practice, this means that OMNITWIN can be used as a 3D viewer to navigate and populate data in dRofus.

LOCAL OPERATION - ONPREM

Local deployment and administration is provided by your project's IT staff. The basic requirements for OMNITWIN are not technically complex, and if adequate server capacity is available, this solution can be deployed within this framework.

If the service is very well utilized and/or the existing capacity is at the limit, a dedicated server may need to be acquired, which is then provided by the customer.

Tikab delivers software for installation on the customer's server, as well as providing consultation for installation and operation/support.

PRICE MODELS

OMNITWIN OnPrem P
OMNITWIN is primarily developed for use in security classified projects OnPrem. P stands for Project, so the offer is per project with an unlimited number of users and data.

The cost of OMNITWIN OnPrem P is divided into two parts:

  • Cost of basic license and adaptation for the above needs and operation in a classified IT environment.
  • A current cost of use.

OMNITWIN OnPrem E
OMNITWIN is also offered as an enterprise solution for companies that want to work in the same way for all their projects. In this way, all point cloud data for all projects is collected in the same solution. E stands for Enterprise.
The offer is thus OnPrem for a company/organization with an unlimited number of projects and an unlimited number of users and data.

The cost of OMNITWIN OnPrem E is divided into two parts:

  • Cost of basic license and adaptation for the above needs and operation in a classified IT environment.
  • An ongoing cost of utilization. Tier by price step based on the size of the project portfolio.

    OMNITWIN Cloud P
    If the market is interested in OMNITWIN as an open CLOUD service on Swedish servers, this can also be offered per project. This is also offered with an unlimited number of users but a price step depending on the size of the project.

    OMNITWIN Cloud E
    If the market is interested in OMNITWIN as an open CLOUD service on Swedish servers, this can also be offered as an Enterprise solution. This is also offered with unlimited number of projects and unlimited number of users but with a price step depending on the size of the project portfolio.
