Your future

As a new employee at Tikab, you will work with Sweden's most skilled engineers on major construction projects. As a future engineering consultant with us, you will eventually also run your own projects on behalf of clients. The projects are mostly carried out in our office, where you will have access to high expertise through your colleagues to find solutions in your daily work. During a normal week, you will spend the majority of your time building 3D models and generating manufacturing drawings from these. For structural analysis and design you will use modern FEM, MBS and CAD systems from leading suppliers (SolidWorks mainly) as well as in-house developed specialised software. A natural part of your job is daily contact with customers, where you will send reports, drawings and instructions and continuously check the work.

By balancing design and CAD tasks on the one hand and investigation and calculation tasks on the other, we try to create a developing and varied technical environment for you and the other 17 employees. Staff development is promoted by training initiatives of various kinds. The atmosphere is relaxed and the company is small with short decision-making paths. At the Solna office, with the help of your colleagues and the responsive manager who promotes the exchange of skills, you will have a good chance to develop and broaden your knowledge as a technology consultant. We have recently moved to new inspired and fresh premises at Brunnsviken in Solna.

Your background

To fit, thrive and develop in your role with us, the following applies to you:

• You have a civil or university engineering degree with a mechanical engineering focus or equivalent.
• Experience of working in 3D-CAD preferably SolidWorks.
• You will preferably have a few years' experience as a designer from an industrial or consulting company.
